Phu Gia Noodles Da Lat – People often call this place Phu Gia noodles (because it’s located on the first floor of Phu Gia Hotel) or even Japanese noodles.
However, its real name is simply “Mi” (Noodles). It’s not Japanese noodles either — it’s a beef noodle dish uniquely created by the owner couple themselves.
The shop opens only 4 days a week, serving around 80 bowls per day, and everything is usually sold out within just 2 hours.
Phu Gia Noodles – The Hottest Noodle Shop in Da Lat You Must Try at Least Once in Your Life
The restaurant’s official name is simply Mi, but it’s commonly known as Phu Gia Noodles Da Lat.
In the cool, misty weather of Da Lat, finding this small noodle shop and enjoying a bowl of beautifully presented, delicious noodles is truly a treat.
The noodles are served piping hot, with fresh, soft yet chewy noodles, a rich and flavorful broth, and tender, fragrant beef — absolutely outstanding.

The entire space is designed with wooden interiors, decorated with charming vintage items, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The shop can serve about 20 guests at a time. The owner has a very distinctive style, with long hair and an impressive way of speaking. He is straightforward, full of positive energy, and personally carries each bowl of noodles to customers with genuine care and respect.

The shop offers three types of noodles:
- Spicy noodles (also called bird’s eye chili noodles)
- Non-spicy noodles (also known as six-flavor noodles)
- Rose noodles (very rarely available)
In addition, there are baked pastries, which vary depending on the day.

According to the owner, he is directly responsible for making the dough. To achieve the perfect texture, he uses flour with 6% gluten, combined with eggs, olive oil, and fresh grapeseed oil. The noodles are usually prepared the night before.

His wife, whose family has practiced traditional herbal medicine for four generations, is in charge of the broth. The broth is simmered from 6:00 AM one day until 2:30 PM the next day.
The reason it’s called six-flavor noodles is that the dish contains:
- Bitter
- Spicy
- Sweet
- Sour
- Salty
- Umami (also known as “the savory flavor”)
Price: 60,000 VND per bowl, same price for both spicy and non-spicy versions.
The shop also serves a delicious pickled mustard greens side dish, available only for dine-in guests.
